Our Policies

Legal Requirements

You must be at least 21 years of age to order or receive alcoholic beverages from Andremily Winery. Receipt of shipments containing alcoholic beverages require the signature of a sober adult (a person 21 years of age or older who is not intoxicated). Wines purchased from Andremily Winery are not for resale, and are for personal consumption only.

Credit Card Charges

Orders are processed through our website by credit card only. We accept most major credit cards. Credit cards are processed at the time of online purchase. The wines are sold as “futures” (payment is received at the time of ordering and shipped at a later date, specified in the order confirmation, when temperatures permit the shipping of wine). If you would like to make other payment arrangements, please contact us at info@andremily.com.

Security

We want to assure you that credit card data is never stored on our e-commerce server. Card information submitted via our website is encrypted and sent to Authorize.net for processing and storage. We then receive back a token from Authorize.net which allows the credit card to be charged securely going forward, such as when a wish request can be fulfilled. Even if someone gained access to your Andremily account (or even the database itself), there is no credit card data available for an intruder to steal. Our e-commerce provider, VineSpring, routinely upgrades their services to the latest security technologies. When a credit card is submitted to our website, it is always transmitted over a secure channel using 2048 bit encryption and Transport Security Layer (TLS) 1.2. This is the same level of security used by most banking websites. If you have additional questions about the platform, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Wish Requests and Granting

For customers interested in purchasing more than the allocation we provide we recommend placing a “wish request.” On the allocation page where you select wines to add to your cart, click on the arrow on the right side of your allocation amount (even if it is 0) to reveal a drop down menu where you can request bottles in addition to your allocation. For mobile devices you can touch the allocation amount and a drop down menu will be revealed. If inventory allows at the end of the release, we will add the requested bottles to your order. The credit card attached to the original order will be charged the difference for the wines granted and taxes if they apply. When a wish request is fulfilled we will email a revised order confirmation.

Allocations

Allocations are based on customers buying history, as well as length of time on the Andremily list. If a customer purchases their full allocation and wishes for additional bottles, we are more likely to increase a future allocation when inventory allows. Adversely, if a customer purchases less than their allocation, we may decrease a future allocation (we do this so we can more accurately allocations future wines). If you ever have questions regarding allocation status or our policies we are more than happy to talk. Call or email us anytime and thank you for your support!

Returns and Cancellations

We will replace any bottle of wine that is damaged, flawed or found unsatisfactory. By law, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages unless the product is corked, or flawed. Please send an email to info@andremily.com to arrange for the replacement of a corked or flawed product.

A customer may request a cancellation and full refund of their order any time before the wine is shipped by emailing info@andremily.com
It is the customer’s responsibility to be present in order to accept and sign for the delivery of their wine. If we need to re-ship an order due to failed delivery attempts we will charge the customer the cost of re-shipping the order.

It is the customer’s responsibility to verify the shipping address before submitting their order and when we send out the shipping notice email before shipment.

In order to avoid returned orders please contact the carrier or info@andremily.com and request that the order be re-routed to an address where someone can sign for the delivery or request to have it held for pick up within 5 business days at the carrier facility near you.

Wine is a Delicate Commodity

Wine is a perishable commodity. Wine does not like extremes of temperature: hot humid summer and cold winter weather may adversely affect the condition of your wine during shipment. Andremily chooses shipping dates very carefully. If the customer specifies a unique shipping date it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure appropriate temperatures on the reschedule date.

Decanting and Storage

Andremily is produced in the gentlest possible way, including being bottled without finning or filtration. As a result it is a bit more delicate then wines created in a more industrial fashion. This means it will greatly benefit from being treated and served with a little extra care.

Here is what we suggest!

The wine should be stored in a manner allowing the wine to stay in contact with the cork. The temperature of the wine should never exceed 65 Degrees Fahrenheit, 55 Degrees would be ideal for storage.

Please stand the bottle upright about a week before you plan to drink it to allow the natural sediment time to settle to the punt.

Please Decant the wine some 2 to 3 hours prior to consumption. This should be done using a decanter with sufficient space to hold twice the volume of the bottle being decanted. This will allow the wine to relax, breath, and acclimate to its new environment, in exchange it will show more nuance and ultimately provide Greater Pleasure.
